On Thursday 18 September 2025, the second PROGRES Conference took place at the Grand Plaza Hotel in Ljubljana, which was organised by Colliers, Law Firm Senica, Andersen and Pokojninska družba A. It has quickly established itself as a central platform for the real estate sector in Slovenia. Once again it brought together leading voices in urban development, financing and the future of commercial property. The programme addressed pressing challenges of our time: from spatial planning and the process of obtaining permits, to the renovation of older office buildings and the use of alternative financing models.

On the panel dedicated to the future of office spaces, Pál Forgács, Managing Director of Mendota Invest, joined the discussion. He explained how Emonika, with its modern design, sustainable solutions and carefully integrated mix of office, residential, hotel and public spaces, will set new benchmarks for Ljubljana’s office market. He emphasised that quality, flexibility and sustainability are the key values shaping tenant demand today and defining the market of tomorrow. Forgács also spoke about the constantly evolving expectations of tenants, underlining the importance of creating new, sustainable and adaptable workplaces that will transform Ljubljana’s business landscape.
